zondrrrah and I have been working on something together that plays on the legends of the Taltos. We're working in the 800-1900 AD time frame, and the major antagonist is the Church. Our protagonists are all Taltos, a splinter cult who believe some entirely heretical things about Mary and Jesus.

At the end of the first book, a former nun named Hannah pens a short litany that becomes the basis for a set of laws as the Taltos become more organized. I like it well enough to share. I was raised Presbyterian, and in a pinch I have an absolute treasure hoard of Biblical knowledge and various litanies and verses rattling around in my head. I used that here.
